Organ transplant is the operation in which an organ is removed from the donor body and then placed in a recipient body to replace a damaged or missing organ.

The organs that can be successfully transplanted today include the heart, kidneys, liver, lungs, pancreas, intestine, thymus and uterus.

Bone marrow transplant is a procedure that implants healthy blood-making stem cells into the body to replace damaged or diseased bone marrow. Bone marrow transplants are of two types, autologous and allogeneic. Transplants using cells from the human body are called autologous transplants, and transplants from a donor are called allogeneic transplants.

Kidney Transplant

A kidney transplant is the process of replacing a kidney that develops failure with a kidney taken from a living person or cadaver, and ensuring that the person's kidney function continues.

Kidney transplant can be applied in 2 ways. These methods are called robotic kidney transplant and single-port surgery. The methods can be performed through closed surgery.
