Sleeve Gastrectomy

It is an operation performed with the removal of about 75-80% of the stomach. This name is given to the application because the shape of the stomach left behind after the operation resembles a tube.

Since most of the stomach is surgically removed and a volume of 50-100 ml remains, the amount of nutrients consumed is limited. Weight loss is achieved by reducing nutrient intake.
