The chance of success in the first IVF trial between the ages of 20 and 30 is around 70%. While the chance of success is 50% at the ages of 30-35, it decreases to 45% between the ages of 35-37. The chance of success decreases to 30% in the 38-40 age range and 20% in the 40-42 age range.
